Cherry Hills Christian School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, has delivered excellent Preschool-Grade 8 education for nearly four decades and continually works to build its vibrant school community. Media Salad is honored to work with CHC leaders on the development and execution of a strong “communications engine” specifically designed to help the school live up to its mission and values — and attract new families.
The school’s new communications engine has several parts, all of which Media Salad team members are working with CHC officials to operate seamlessly. There are weekly and monthly emails devised for specific audiences; social media channels; digital and hardcopy collateral to support admissions and other school operations and initiatives; and, of course, a robust, new website to serve as a core information hub.

Completed in just two and a half months, it reflects the valuable feedback and requests received from parents and other key stakeholders, all of whom asked for clear, consistent and efficient communication and digital tools that would make it easier for families, community partners, alumni and donors to be connected and helpful. The site is comprehensive, intuitive and designed to help ensure everyone can access the information they need, when they need it, from just about any device. Media Salad’s team of top information designers and writers have expertise in the field of education (never mind that we’re all parents, too) and anticipated some of the school’s future needs. The new site is built on WordPress, giving CHC the flexibility to develop an array of new services and educational opportunities for students and parents alike.
Among the new site’s features:
Clear and concise organization. Prospective and current parents can head straight to the CHC school of their choice — The Preschool, The Lower School and/or The Upper School — to find information and resources pertaining directly to those programs. A dashboard at the top of each of school’s front-door page makes it especially easy for current parents to track upcoming events and latest school announcements. Each school’s “front door” also is accessed from the home page and the universal, upper navigation rail.
CHC Directory. Prospective and current parents can get a great overview of CHC’s quality instruction and easily contact all Leadership team members, Faculty and Staff. Search by team or individual name.
Events Calendar. Search all school events, or narrow according to school, grade or topic. Download event information into your personal, digital calendar so your schedule is always updated.
The “Easy Button pages.” We have created new pages that help students and parents have easy access to tech support and to the log-in screens for CHC’s school-management tools and services.
News. CHC’s blog promises to be one of the most powerful and helpful tools for engaging students and keeping them on track with their learning year ’round, whether on campus or studying remotely. Search by subject or keyword to find helpful information about everything from students’ achievements, to outstanding Faculty contributions, to tips on character development.
Admissions and Re-enrollment. The new site presents a streamlined, step-by-step process for admissions that we hope is shared far and wide with family and friends who are searching for a wonderful school for their children.
