Letting go of conventional paradigms helped Media Salad’s founder and chief executive officer, Christine Tatum, see professional opportunities she probably would have missed — and even resisted — otherwise.

Today, her thoughts about how to achieve professional success are featured in an outstanding blog devoted to helping modern, working mothers find greater happiness.

The blog is produced by Becky Beaupre Gillespie and Hollee Schwartz Tower, co-authors of the Live/Work Balance column that appears in the ABA Journal. Gillespie and Tower are wrapping up their work on soon-to-be-released book, Good Enough is the New Perfect: Finding Happiness and Success in Modern Motherhood. The book — which will chronicle how mothers are redefining success and feminism by refusing to settle for lives they don’t want — is scheduled to be published by Harlequin Nonfiction in early 2011.
